Jaipur, September 2 – The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released a detailed urban‑development pledge as part of its campaign for the upcoming Rajasthan municipal elections. The document, presented in the state capital, outlines a five‑year plan aimed at upgrading civic infrastructure across urban areas.
The party promises to allocate land for one lakh residential plots, provide seven lakh new piped natural gas (PNG) connections, install 2,000 pink toilets for women’s sanitation, erect 15 lakh street lights and deploy electric buses on key city routes.
