BJP accuses opposition of tampering with Bihar’s electoral rolls

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) issued a statement in Bihar accusing opposition parties of attempting to manipulate the state's electoral process and voter rolls. The party said the alleged interference threatens the integrity of upcoming elections and undermines democratic norms. BJP leaders urged the Election Commission to scrutinise the voter list and ensure that any irregularities are addressed promptly. The remarks come as political parties gear up for the next electoral cycle in the state, a period traditionally marked by intense competition. No response from the opposition was recorded at the time of reporting.
