In a daylight robbery at Ludhiana’s Main Bazaar, a bike‑riding thief snatched an elderly woman’s bag and fled.
Earlier today, a robbery took place in Ludhiana’s Main Bazaar when a bike‑riding suspect snatched the bag of an elderly woman in broad daylight. The victim was walking near the market’s central stall area when the thief approached, grabbed the bag, and quickly rode away on the bike.
Police officers arrived at the scene within minutes and are currently canvassing the area for witnesses. The suspect was described as a young male, wearing a dark jacket and a cap, and was seen leaving the market on a white motorcycle.
Investigators are reviewing CCTV footage from nearby shops and are asking anyone who may have seen the incident to come forward. No injuries were reported, and the victim was unharmed.
