The Bihar monitoring department arrested Block Panchayat Revenue Officer Brajesh Kumar for accepting a Rs 28,000 bribe, seizing him at his Lakhisarai office.
The monitoring department of Bihar announced that it has taken into custody a Block Panchayat Revenue Officer accused of taking a cash bribe. The officer, identified as Brajesh Kumar, was apprehended while at his workplace in Lakhisarai.
According to the department, Kumar allegedly received Rs 28,000 in exchange for facilitating a payment related to a local scheme. The seizure was carried out at the officer’s office, preventing any attempt to flee.
