Bihar Floods Subside as Water Levels Drop, Relief Efforts Gain Ground

Water levels in the rivers that inundated large parts of Bihar have begun to fall, allowing authorities to declare a gradual improvement in the flood situation. The state disaster management unit reported that the rise in water has slowed and several low‑lying areas are now seeing visible drying of fields and roads.
