JDU MLA Komal Singh was gheraoed by flood-affected villagers in Muzaffarpur's Gaighat block. The villagers protested against the MLA's alleged lack of support during the flood crisis.
The flood-affected villagers of Kanta Pirochha South Panchayat in Muzaffarpur's Gaighat block gheraoed JDU MLA Komal Singh on Wednesday. The villagers were upset with the MLA's alleged lack of support during the flood crisis. The protest was a result of the villagers' frustration with the government's response to the flood situation. The MLA's visit to the area was seen as an attempt to assess the damage, but the villagers felt that it was too little, too late.
