Bihar Braces for Heavy Rainfall, Lightning Strikes

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather alert for 17 districts in Bihar, predicting heavy rainfall and thunderstorms accompanied by lightning strikes. The alert comes as the state prepares for the monsoon season, which typically brings heavy downpours and occasional severe weather events. Authorities have urged residents in the affected districts to take necessary precautions, including staying indoors during thunderstorms and avoiding open areas.
