The Bihar School Examination Board has announced an extension of the registration cut‑off for the 2028 Matric and Intermediate examinations.
Patna, Oct 9 2026 – The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) issued a notice today extending the last date for students to register for the 2028 Matric (Class 10) and Intermediate (Class 12) examinations. The extension aims to give candidates additional time to complete the online application process, which is hosted on the board’s official portal.
The board reiterated that all applicants must still meet the eligibility criteria and submit the required documents before the newly announced deadline. It also reminded schools and coaching centres to circulate the updated timeline to prospective examinees.
Education officials said the decision responds to a surge in queries from students who faced technical glitches or lacked internet access during the initial registration window. No further changes to exam dates or syllabi have been announced.
Stakeholders are advised to monitor the BSEB website for detailed instructions and to ensure that applications are submitted well before the revised cut‑off to avoid disqualification.
