Baba Mahakal Adorned with Moon, Trident and Peacock Feathers on Ashwin Krishna Paksha Pratipada in Ujjain

On the first day of Ashwin Krishna Paksha, Baba Mahakal in Ujjain was lavishly decorated with bhang, moon, trident, three eyes and peacock feathers, followed by a resonant Bhasm Aarti chanting "Jai Shri Mahakal".
Ujjain witnessed a grand ceremonial adornment of the revered deity Baba Mahakal on the auspicious day of Ashwin Krishna Paksha Pratipada. The ritual began with the application of bhang, a traditional offering, to the idol.
Following the bhang, priests embellished the deity with symbolic ornaments: a crescent moon, the trident (trishul), the three-eyed representation (trinetr), and a peacock feather, each element signifying divine attributes in Hindu tradition.
