The Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Association has expressed approval of the newly introduced recruitment norms by the APPSC and urged consistent application across all districts.

The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) recently announced a set of revised recruitment norms aimed at streamlining the hiring process for state government positions. The changes include updated eligibility criteria, a revised examination pattern, and a clearer timeline for notifications.

The Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Association (APSA) welcomed the new norms, stating that they would make the recruitment process more transparent and accessible to aspiring civil servants. APSA’s spokesperson highlighted that the reforms could reduce delays and improve the overall quality of candidates.

However, the association also urged the APPSC to enforce the norms uniformly across all districts. APSA pointed out that inconsistencies in implementation have previously led to confusion among applicants, especially in remote areas.

If the commission follows through with a consistent rollout, the reforms could enhance the efficiency of public service recruitment and provide clearer guidance for students and job seekers across the state.
