Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy conducted an aerial inspection of districts in Andhra Pradesh that were severely affected by the recent cyclone, assessing damage and relief needs.
The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, took to the skies on a helicopter to survey the districts that bore the brunt of the recent cyclone. The aerial tour covered the most affected areas, allowing the government to gauge the extent of destruction to homes, infrastructure and agricultural lands.
During the flight, officials accompanying the CM recorded damage to road networks, power lines and public facilities, and identified locations where relief teams are needed most. The real‑time visual assessment is expected to streamline the allocation of state resources and expedite reconstruction efforts.
State authorities have already mobilised emergency response units, but the aerial survey aims to fine‑tune relief distribution and prioritize reconstruction projects. The Chief Minister reiterated the government's commitment to restoring normalcy and supporting affected families as quickly as possible.
