KVK Gomati Launches Khet Bachao Abhiyan to Promote Sustainable Farming

The Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) in Gomati district, Tripura, held a Khet Bachao Abhiyan earlier this week. The campaign aimed to spread awareness among farmers about soil health, water conservation and modern farming techniques. Participants included local farmers, agricultural officers and students from nearby schools. The event featured interactive sessions, demonstrations of seed treatment and composting methods, and distribution of informational leaflets. KVK officials said the initiative is part of a broader effort to improve agricultural productivity in the state.
