AMBBA Names Manipur Squad for 2nd Mr NE India Bodybuilding & Physique Championship 2026

The All Manipur Bodybuilding Association (AMBBA) has released the official state team that will compete in the second edition of the Mr NE India Bodybuilding and Physique Championship scheduled for 2026.
The All Manipur Bodybuilding Association (AMBBA) announced on Thursday the roster of athletes selected to represent Manipur at the upcoming 2nd Mr NE India Bodybuilding and Physique Championship in 2026. The selection was made after a series of state-level trials that evaluated competitors on muscle development, symmetry, and overall presentation.
A total of twelve bodybuilders and six physique athletes have been named to the squad, covering categories ranging from junior to senior divisions. AMBBA officials said the chosen athletes have demonstrated the highest standards of discipline and performance during the trials.
The championship, organized by the North East India bodybuilding federation, will bring together top contenders from across the region. Manipur’s delegation aims to improve on its previous showing and target podium finishes in multiple categories.
AMBBA President highlighted the importance of the event for promoting fitness culture in the state and pledged continued support for training and infrastructure ahead of the competition.
The team is scheduled to depart for the venue later this month, with preparations underway at the state’s sports academy.
