Ajmer Awaits Zila Parishad Nominations: None Filed Yet as Deadline Looms

The Election Commission has announced that the last day to file nominations for the upcoming Zila Parishad elections in Ajmer is tomorrow. As of today, no candidate has submitted a nomination, a situation that is unusual for local elections. The absence of nominations could delay the election schedule, prompting the Election Commission to consider extending the nomination period or inviting new candidates. Local political parties and independent aspirants are expected to register by the deadline, and the Commission has urged potential candidates to submit their nominations promptly. The Zila Parishad elections form part of Rajasthan’s local governance structure, and the results will determine the composition of the district council.
