All India Students' Federation activists staged a road protest in Patna, marching from Gandhi Maidan to Income Tax Chowk, calling for the preservation of democracy and prevention of chaos.
All India Students' Federation (AIB) workers took to the streets of Patna on Thursday, forming a large rally that stretched from Gandhi Maidan to Income Tax Chowk. The demonstrators carried placards and chanted slogans demanding the safeguarding of democracy and the prevention of chaos in the city.
The protest, organized by AIB, aimed to draw attention to perceived threats to democratic processes and civic order. Participants marched in a coordinated procession, maintaining a steady rhythm of chants and slogans.
Police were on standby to manage traffic and ensure public safety, but the protest remained peaceful, with no reports of clashes or disruptions to the city's routine operations.
AIB representatives stated that the demonstration was a response to recent political developments that they felt could undermine democratic institutions. They urged local authorities to address these concerns promptly.
The march concluded at Income Tax Chowk, where the crowd dispersed after delivering their message to the public and the media.
