Agriculture Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha visited Vishnupad Temple for puja and inspected the Devghat on the Falgu River as preparations intensify for the Pitru Paksha fair starting September 25 in Gaya.

Agriculture Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha, who also serves as the district in‑charge for Gaya, performed a puja at the historic Vishnupad Temple before moving to the Devghat on the Falgu River, a focal point for the fair’s rituals.
During his on‑site inspection, Sinha reviewed crowd‑control measures, sanitation facilities, and temporary structures, confirming that all essential arrangements are in place.
He assured devotees that no inconvenience would be caused and appealed for adherence to safety guidelines while performing ancestral rites.
