A group of 400 kavadi carriers covered the 2,100‑km stretch from Rameshwaram to Indore’s Aranya Dham in 171 hours, concluding with a water abhishek of Shri Ramrameshwar Mahadev.

The pilgrimage began at the holy shrine of Rameshwaram in Tamil Nadu, where 400 kavadi carriers set out for Indore’s Aranya Dham. The convoy followed a route that spanned roughly 2,100 kilometres across several states, maintaining a continuous non‑stop march.

Organisers recorded that the group covered the entire distance in 171 hours, averaging a relentless pace without any overnight halt. The sheer scale of the undertaking, involving hundreds of participants carrying traditional kavadi structures, highlighted both logistical coordination and devotional fervour.

Upon reaching Aranya Dham in Indore, the pilgrims performed a ceremonial water abhishek of Shri Ramrameshwar Mahadev, marking the successful completion of the journey. The event was noted by local authorities and devotees as a remarkable expression of faith and endurance.
