20 People Fall Ill After Shraddha Feast in Kanchanpur, Bihar

Kanchanpur village in Bhita district of Bihar reported a sudden outbreak of illness following a shraddha feast held by local families. Twenty people, comprising eight adults and twelve children, complained of fever, chills and weakness within hours of the meal. Local residents called for emergency assistance, and three ambulances were dispatched to transport the affected individuals to the nearest medical facility. Hospital staff treated the patients for fever and provided supportive care, while authorities are investigating the cause of the outbreak.
