Students from Ziro district attended a workshop to learn how to file Right to Information (RTI) applications.
The workshop was conducted at the Ziro District Education Office on Tuesday, where 30 high‑school students gathered to understand the RTI process.
The program was organized by the district administration in partnership with the local NGO, Knowledge for All, aiming to promote transparency and citizen participation.
During the session, participants were guided through the steps of drafting an RTI request, identifying the correct public authority, and submitting the application online or in person.
Officials emphasized that knowledge of RTI empowers students to hold public officials accountable and encourages a culture of openness in the community.
