The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party has demanded a Central Bureau of Investigation probe into alleged irregularities in the recruitment process of the Andhra Pradesh Digital Service Corps following the exit of Pradhan.
The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) has formally requested the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to investigate alleged irregularities in the recruitment process of the Andhra Pradesh Digital Service Corps (AP DSC). The demand came after the resignation of Pradhan, a key figure in the state’s administrative machinery.
AP DSC, a government initiative aimed at strengthening digital services across Andhra Pradesh, has faced criticism over its hiring procedures. Allegations include favoritism, lack of transparency, and non‑compliance with established recruitment norms.
Pradhan’s exit, which was announced earlier this week, has intensified scrutiny of the department’s internal processes. YSRCP’s call for a CBI probe reflects growing concerns among opposition parties about potential malpractices within state-run schemes.
In a statement released by the party, YSRCP leaders urged the central government to act swiftly and to ensure that the investigation remains impartial. They also demanded that the findings be made public to restore public confidence in the state’s digital initiatives.
