The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party has raised concerns over alleged financial irregularities that it says are causing small and medium enterprises to shut down across Andhra Pradesh.

The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) has publicly flagged what it describes as financial irregularities affecting the state's micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The party alleges that inconsistencies in fund allocation and a lack of transparency in financial dealings are undermining the viability of these businesses.

According to YSRCP, delayed payments, opaque subsidy disbursements and irregular accounting practices have forced a number of MSMEs to suspend operations. The party contends that such financial mismanagement is directly responsible for recent closures across various districts of Andhra Pradesh.

The allegations were presented during a press briefing in the state, where YSRCP demanded an immediate inquiry by the government. The party urged authorities to audit the relevant schemes and restore confidence among entrepreneurs.

MSMEs account for a substantial share of Andhra Pradesh's employment and industrial output, so continued shutdowns could have broader economic repercussions. The state government has not issued an official response to the party's claims as of now.
