The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party has publicly criticized Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, alleging that his administration has not effectively addressed the growing narcotics problem in the state.

The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) released a statement today accusing Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu of failing to curb the rising narcotics menace in Andhra Pradesh. The party’s spokesperson highlighted that despite several policy announcements, drug trafficking and consumption have continued to surge across the state.

The narcotics issue has become a pressing concern, with reports indicating a spike in methamphetamine and heroin usage in both urban and rural areas. Law enforcement agencies have struggled to keep pace with the influx of drugs, and several high-profile drug busts have been announced in recent months.

So far, Chief Minister Naidu has not issued a formal response to the YSRCP’s allegations. The opposition party has called for a comprehensive review of the state’s drug control measures and urged the central government to step in.

The criticism comes at a crucial time as Andhra Pradesh gears up for the upcoming assembly elections. Political analysts suggest that the drug issue could become a key campaign theme for both the ruling and opposition parties.
