Youth seriously injured in violent assault in Jalandhar's Valmiki Mohalla

A group of youths allegedly assaulted a young man with kicks, punches and a knife in Valmiki Mohalla, Jalandhar, leaving him critically injured. A stray dog reportedly intervened during the attack.
Police reports indicate that a young man was attacked by several unidentified youths in the Valmiki neighbourhood of Gharha, Jalandhar. The assailants are said to have used physical blows and a knife, inflicting serious injuries on the victim.
Witnesses described a chaotic scene in which a stray dog entered the fray, attempting to intervene as the assault unfolded. The dog’s presence did not prevent the attackers from continuing their assault.
Emergency services were called to the location, and the victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where he remains in critical condition. Local authorities have launched an investigation and are seeking information from residents to identify the perpetrators.
