A young man in Bagli, Dewas, climbed a 150‑foot tower citing family problems, and has been on the structure since early morning while police negotiate his safe descent.

Early on Saturday morning, a youth from Bagli in Dewas district ascended a tower approximately 150 feet high, claiming a family dispute as the motive for his stunt. He reached the structure shortly after 6 a.m. and has remained there for several hours, drawing a crowd of onlookers.
The man kept a telephone line open with his relatives, speaking to them while perched atop the tower. According to police officials, the conversation focused on his grievances and the possibility of coming down safely.
Dewas police arrived promptly, cordoning off the area and deploying a negotiation team. Officers have been attempting to persuade the youth to descend without injury, using calm dialogue and offering assistance from his family.
As of the latest update, the situation remains under control, with authorities monitoring the tower and preparing rescue equipment should the need arise. No injuries have been reported among the public or the individual involved.
