World Wetlands Day 2025 Celebrated Across Manipur

Manipur observed World Wetlands Day on 2 February 2025, aligning with the global theme of conserving and restoring wetland ecosystems. State officials, environmental NGOs, and local schools organized a series of events, including seminars, field visits to key wetland sites, and poster exhibitions that underscored the role of wetlands in biodiversity, flood mitigation, and livelihoods.
