Delhi witnessed a unique religious gathering on Saturday as women’s congregations took charge of a special Gurmat Samagam. The event, organized by Sikh community leaders, aimed to highlight the role of women in spiritual discourse and community service.
Participants from the towns of Kalka and Kahlon joined the assembly, sharing prayers, hymns and discussions on Sikh teachings. Organisers said the inclusion of women leaders reflects a growing emphasis on gender equality within the faith.
The Samagam concluded with a collective recitation of the Guru Granth Sahib and a communal langar, underscoring the unity and shared values of the attendees.
