Female teachers from remote villages in Bihar and Arunachal Pradesh have been awarded national recognition for their innovative contributions to primary education.
Women educators from the most isolated villages of Bihar and Arunachal Pradesh have been conferred a national honour for their pioneering work in primary schooling. The award, announced by ETV Bharat, highlights the teachers' dedication to improving learning outcomes in areas where educational infrastructure is often lacking.
These teachers have introduced community‑driven teaching methods, incorporated local dialects into the curriculum, and organized extracurricular activities that keep children engaged. Their efforts have led to noticeable rises in school attendance and literacy rates in the villages they serve.
Education officials have praised the initiative as a model for other remote regions, noting that the teachers' grassroots approach aligns with national goals of inclusive education. The recognition is expected to inspire more educators to adopt similar strategies across the country.
