Despite the full payment, the construction work on the villa remained incomplete months after the agreed handover date. The buyer lodged a formal complaint, alleging that the developer had failed to deliver the promised amenities and structural work, leaving the property in a partially built state.
The Telangana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) took cognizance of the grievance and issued an order directing the developer to either complete the construction within a stipulated timeframe or refund the amount paid, along with applicable interest.
