Mokama town in Bihar's Patna district witnessed a violent confrontation on Tuesday in the Bahapar village of the Pachmahal police jurisdiction. The clash began when two groups disputed the diversion of water through a local drain and the use of a nearby road.
The argument quickly turned physical, with both sides exchanging blows. According to local witnesses, the tension escalated later in the day when one faction stormed the residence of a woman identified as Shanti Devi.
The house raid resulted in Shanti Devi succumbing to injuries, while four other individuals sustained wounds of varying severity. Police arrived at the scene, secured the area and reported that four suspects were taken into custody for questioning.
