Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari urged political parties, business leaders and citizens to unite behind West Bengal's forthcoming industrial policy aimed at boosting investment and jobs.

West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari appealed to political parties, the business community and the public to stand together in support of the state's upcoming industrial policy. He said the policy is designed to draw fresh investment, generate employment and modernise the state's manufacturing base.

The CM outlined that the policy will target key sectors such as textiles, electronics and renewable energy, offering incentives like tax concessions and faster clearances. He stressed that a collaborative approach is essential for the plan's success.

Adhikari also called on opposition parties to set aside partisan differences, noting that political stability is a decisive factor for investors. The announcement comes as West Bengal seeks to enhance its industrial output amid competition from neighboring states.

The chief minister's remarks were made during a press briefing in Kolkata, where he reiterated the government's commitment to creating a business‑friendly environment.

Stakeholders are expected to review the draft policy in the coming weeks before it is formally presented in the state legislature.
