The Chief Electoral Officer of West Bengal announced that voters whose names were mistakenly deleted from the electoral rolls can apply using Form 6 to have their names restored.
The CEO made the statement during a press briefing, emphasizing the importance of maintaining an accurate voter list.
He explained that Form 6 is the designated application for inclusion of names that were erroneously removed, and eligible voters should submit it to the concerned Electoral Registration Officer.
