Bollywood's upcoming comedy film 'Welcome To The Jungle', starring Akshay Kumar and a host of popular actors, has received a U/A certificate from the Censor Board after undergoing 18 modifications. The film is slated for a June 26th release.
The highly anticipated Bollywood comedy film 'Welcome To The Jungle', featuring a star-studded cast led by Akshay Kumar, has been granted a U/A certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Before receiving the certification, the board mandated a total of 18 changes, including the alteration or removal of dialogues and scenes deemed sensitive.
Key modifications reportedly include the deletion of references to Kashmir, such as the dialogue "Kashmir ka paani," and the removal of phrases like "desh ki tatti." Additionally, sensual scenes, including bikini sequences featuring Disha Patani and Jacqueline Fernandez, have been altered or cut. Military terms like "Gorkha Regiment" and "General" were also asked to be replaced with more general terms like "Officer/Sir."
Despite these changes, the film has successfully cleared the censor board and is set to entertain audiences on its scheduled release date of June 26th. The movie will have a runtime of 2 hours and 44 minutes. Paid preview shows are also planned for the day before the official release to generate audience excitement.
