Vishwakarma Jayanti Celebrated Grandly in Jalahalli
Jalahalli, Sept. 17: Vishwakarma Jayanti was celebrated grandly at the Vishwakarma Circle near the KEB office in Jalahalli town of Devadurga taluk, Raichur district, in the presence of members of the Vishwakarma community.
A large number of members of the Vishwakarma community from various villages of Jalahalli Hobli participated in the celebrations and observed Vishwakarma Jayanti with devotion and enthusiasm.
On the occasion, community leaders and members including Hanumantharaya Ganadal, Mounesh Somanamaradi, Venkoba Ningadalli, Sugappa Ningadalli, Somu Suresh Yerandi, Sangamesh Pattar, Kashipathi Bagur, Mounesh Amarapur, Mounesh Sugur, Channabasava Ganadal, Mounesh Talikoti, Jaggu Sugur, Naveen Sangapur and Veeresh Medanapur, among others, were present.
Speaking on the occasion, community leaders highlighted the importance of preserving and promoting the traditions, art, skills and culture of the Vishwakarma community. They also called upon the younger generation to understand the importance of the community’s traditional heritage and professional skills.
