Vishnu Sena to host grand Amruth Mahotsav for Dr. Vishnuvardhan in Bangalore
Veteran Kannada actor Dr. Vishnuvardhan’s Amruth Mahotsav will be celebrated on September 27 with a half‑kilometre flag procession and 18‑hour festivities in Bangalore.
Vishnu Sena is preparing a massive Amruth Mahotsav to honour veteran Kannada actor Dr. Vishnuvardhan on September 27 in Bangalore.
The celebration will run for 18 hours, from 6 a.m. to midnight, featuring a half‑kilometre long giant flag leading a procession from Town Hall to Nainadahalli, with thousands of fans carrying the flag.
Following the parade, a full day of programmes will be staged at Nandi Link Ground in Nainadahalli, continuing until midnight. The event, costing over one crore rupees, involves hundreds of workers and thousands of volunteers.
Veerakaputra Srinivas said the Sena aims to demonstrate fan devotion to a great artist and make the Mahotsav a historic moment for the community.
