Villagers Capture Suspected Counterfeit Note Dealer After 20‑km Chase in Nagaur

In the village of Ghatilasur in Nagaur district, a group of villagers chased a man suspected of dealing counterfeit currency for roughly 20 kilometres before surrendering him to the local police.
The pursuit began after residents received information about a possible transaction involving fake notes in the area. Armed with determination, the villagers tracked the suspect through the surrounding fields and roads.
Police officials who took custody of the man stated that he is a minor, and they are currently investigating the extent of his involvement in the counterfeit note operation.
Two other individuals believed to be connected to the same scheme have not been located and remain at large, according to the police.
