The Vijay Deverakonda starrer Ranabaali collected around ₹52 crore in its opening week across India, prompting questions about its profitability.
Vijay Deverakonda's latest release Ranabaali recorded a domestic gross of roughly ₹52 crore during its first seven days of theatrical run, according to trade reports. The figure reflects ticket sales across multiplexes and single‑screen venues nationwide.
The collection places Ranabaali among the higher‑earning openings for a regional star‑driven film this year, but industry analysts note that gross revenue alone does not determine profitability. Distribution costs, exhibitor shares and marketing outlays must be deducted before net earnings are calculated.
Since the film's production budget and promotional spend have not been disclosed publicly, experts caution that the ₹52 crore gross may or may not be sufficient to cover all expenses. The uncertainty has led to speculation about whether Ranabaali will ultimately register a box‑office loss despite its strong opening week.
