Bina GRP police have detained 37‑year‑old Nitin Yadav of Vidisha for stealing a passenger’s trolley bag on the Karnataka Express, recovering an iPad and 36 mobile phones.
Bina district police (GRP) arrested Nitin Yadav, a 37‑year‑old resident of Vidisha, after he was linked to a theft on the Karnataka Express. The suspect allegedly took a trolley bag belonging to a fellow passenger while the train was in transit.
During the arrest, investigators recovered an iPad and a total of 36 mobile phones from Yadav's possession, items believed to have been stolen from the victim's luggage. The recovered devices are being held as evidence pending further forensic analysis.
Police officials confirmed that the case is being forwarded to higher authorities for a detailed inquiry, and they have urged passengers to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity on trains.
