Kerala’s week-long Onam celebrations will conclude on August 30, with the Vice President slated to inaugurate the final day’s procession.
The state of Kerala will bring its week‑long Onam festivities to a close on 30 August. Across major towns and cultural venues, traditional dances, boat races and community feasts have been organised as part of the state‑wide programme.
On the closing day, the Vice President of India is scheduled to flag off the final procession that will wind through the capital’s main streets, marking the ceremonial end of the celebrations.
