A drone light show illuminated Ram Ki Paidi in Ayodhya during the Deepotsav, witnessed by the Vice President, Uttar Pradesh Governor and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Ayodhya’s historic Ram Ki Paidi waterfront was transformed into a night‑time spectacle as a coordinated drone light show lit up the sky during the city’s Deepotsav celebrations. Hundreds of drones formed intricate patterns and illuminated the ghats, creating a visual tribute to the town’s religious heritage.
The event was attended by India’s Vice President, the Governor of Uttar Pradesh and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who observed the display from a specially arranged viewing area. Their presence underscored the government’s endorsement of the cultural programme and highlighted Ayodhya’s growing prominence as a pilgrimage and tourism hub.
Organisers said the drone choreography was designed to reflect motifs from Hindu mythology, with silhouettes of temples, lamps and the iconic Ram‑ayana scenes appearing in succession. The show lasted for roughly ten minutes, drawing large crowds of devotees and tourists alike.
Local officials noted that the successful execution of the aerial display demonstrated the increasing use of advanced technology in religious and cultural events across the country, signalling a blend of tradition with modern spectacle.
