Actor Varun Dhawan told Hindustan Times that Ranveer Singh's role in the upcoming film Dhurandhar made a bigger impact than Ranbir Kapoor's performance in Animal.
Varun Dhawan, the Bollywood star, shared his view with Hindustan Times, stating that Ranveer Singh's portrayal in the forthcoming film Dhurandhar left a stronger impression than Ranbir Kapoor's work in the recent release Animal.
Dhurandhar, slated for release later this year, features Ranveer in a high‑energy role that has generated buzz among fans and critics alike. Dhawan highlighted the actor's dynamic screen presence and the film's fresh narrative as key factors behind its impact.
Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor, earned praise for its gritty storytelling and the actor's intense performance. However, Dhawan felt that the novelty and vibrancy of Ranveer's character in Dhurandhar resonated more powerfully with audiences.
The comment adds to ongoing discussions within the industry about the comparative strengths of the two leading actors as they prepare for their upcoming projects.
