The Uttarakhand government has issued a No-Objection Certificate (NoC) for Sanjeev Chaturvedi, a chief conservator of forests, to take up a Joint Secretary-level position in the Lokpal of India.
Sanjeev Chaturvedi, currently serving as the Chief Conservator of Forests and Director of the Uttarakhand Forestry Training Academy in Haldwani, has received approval from the state government for central deputation.
The No-Objection Certificate (NoC) clears the path for Chaturvedi to assume a significant role at the Lokpal of India, the anti-corruption ombudsman.
His central deputation will be to a post equivalent to the rank of Joint Secretary.
