Uttarakhand CM Dhami Prioritizes Pilgrim Safety for Char Dham and Kanwar Yatra

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami emphasized that ensuring the safety of pilgrims is the top priority as the state prepares for the Char Dham and Kanwar Yatra.
Dhami addressed the media in Dehradun, underscoring that the government’s foremost concern is the safety of pilgrims visiting the Char Dham and participating in the Kanwar Yatra.
He outlined a series of measures, including increased security deployments, crowd control protocols and medical facilities at key pilgrimage sites.
The Char Dham circuit, which includes Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri and Yamunotri, and the Kanwar Yatra, a 1,200‑km trek, attract millions of devotees each year.
Dhami assured that the state would work closely with central agencies to provide a secure and smooth experience for all pilgrims.
