The Uttar Pradesh government has reassigned 17 IAS officers, concluding Anjaney Kumar Singh’s posting after seven extensions.

The state administration announced a reshuffle affecting seventeen Indian Administrative Service officers across Uttar Pradesh. The transfers, reported by Aaj Tak, are part of a routine realignment aimed at improving governance in various districts.

Among the officials affected, senior IAS officer Anjaney Kumar Singh saw his tenure come to an end after receiving seven consecutive extensions. His posting, which had been repeatedly prolonged, was not renewed in the latest round of assignments.

The reshuffle also saw Sangeeta Singh appointed as the new Divisional Commissioner of Muradabad, replacing the outgoing officer. The changes are expected to take effect shortly, with the transferred officers reporting to their new jurisdictions as per the government's schedule.
