Uttar Pradesh Cities Hit by Storm, Rain; 2 Dead from Lightning

Severe weather conditions, including storms and significant rainfall, have affected at least 15 cities in Uttar Pradesh. The downpour has resulted in widespread waterlogging, particularly in underpasses, causing considerable disruption to traffic. Numerous cars and motorcycles were reportedly stranded in the flooded areas.

Adding to the grim situation, lightning strikes accompanying the storm have claimed the lives of two people. The state administration is monitoring the situation as the heavy rains continue to impact normal life in several districts.
