At the curtain‑raiser of Raksha Expo 2026, Uttam Kumar called on defence manufacturers and service providers to explore investment opportunities in Telangana.
Hyderabad – During the opening ceremony of Raksha Expo 2026, Uttam Kumar appealed to domestic and foreign defence companies to consider setting up operations or expanding existing units in Telangana. He highlighted the state’s ambition to become a hub for defence manufacturing and research.
Kumar said the expo provides a platform for showcasing Telangana’s infrastructure, skilled workforce and policy incentives that can support defence‑related projects. He urged industry leaders to engage with the state government to identify mutually beneficial partnerships.
The invitation comes as Telangana seeks to attract capital and technology to strengthen its role in India’s broader defence ecosystem, aiming to create jobs and boost local supply chains.
