Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath unveiled a slate of infrastructure and welfare projects valued at Rs 435 crore for the districts of Deoria and Gorakhpur.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, speaking at a ceremony in Deoria, announced a package of projects worth Rs 435 crore that will be implemented across the Deoria and Gorakhpur districts. The initiatives span several sectors, including infrastructure, health, education and rural development, and are intended to address long‑standing gaps in public services.

The CM described the launch as a boost to the "journey of good governance," saying the new investments will give fresh momentum to the state's development agenda. He emphasized that the projects are designed to be completed swiftly and transparently, with regular monitoring by the administration.

State officials indicated that the funding will be drawn from the Uttar Pradesh budget as well as central government schemes. They expect the projects to generate employment opportunities, stimulate local economies and improve the quality of life for residents in the two districts.

The announcement follows a series of recent infrastructure drives by the Yogi government, underscoring its focus on rural upliftment and balanced regional growth.
