Ujjain Temple Opens For 24 Hours

The Naganchandreshwar Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, has opened its doors for 24 hours on the occasion of Nag Panchami. This rare occasion coincides with the third Monday of the month of Sawan. The temple, which is usually closed throughout the year, attracts a large number of devotees from across the country. The temple gates opened at 12 am on August 16, and devotees are thronging to catch a glimpse of the deity. The temple's unique feature is that it remains closed for the entire year, except for 24 hours on Nag Panchami.
