The city of Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh has witnessed a significant surge in sugar prices. Within a span of just one month, the cost of sugar has increased by Rs 8 per kilogram. This sudden hike has been attributed to several factors, including the weak monsoon and the impact of El Nino.
