Udaipur boyfriend stabs girlfriend over missed call, injures mother, brother and self

A man in Udaipur attacked his girlfriend with a knife after she ignored his call, also wounding his mother and brother before slashing his own throat and hand. All four victims are receiving treatment.
Udaipur police reported that a young man went to his girlfriend's residence after she failed to answer his phone call and assaulted her with a knife. The attack took place in the residential area of the city and resulted in serious injuries to the woman.
During the confrontation, the man's mother and brother tried to intervene and were also struck, sustaining injuries.
After the assault, the accused turned the knife on himself, cutting his own throat and hand.
Four persons – the girlfriend, the mother, the brother and the attacker – were rushed to a local hospital where they remain under medical care.
The case has been registered as a criminal assault and the police are conducting a detailed investigation into the motive and circumstances.
