UCMS Conducts Workshop on World Patient Safety Day

On the occasion of World Patient Safety Day, UCMS organized a workshop at its campus to promote patient safety practices among healthcare professionals. The event brought together faculty, students, and visiting clinicians to discuss common safety challenges such as medication errors, hand hygiene, and effective communication. Participants received training on evidence‑based protocols and were encouraged to implement these measures in their daily practice. The workshop also highlighted the importance of a safety culture within hospitals and the role of continuous education in reducing adverse events.
